The perceived object allocated by human mind as Unique and Boundless, gets qualities of light and shadow, positive and negative. Being processed by analytical function of mind, these qualities are divided on preferential and undesirable, stated as yoga. Dual vision of initially not dual reality is generated. As a rule, the vast majority of people prefers and chooses for themselves only positive, protected, light emotions. But beneath such preferences always lies one emotion - fear. Fear is a condition of suffering which drives an arising and developing mind. And this fear is experienced by everyone who has dual vision perceived and chooses only one side of true reality, mainly on the basis of preference. No matter how fine and happy, full of faith and hopes life might seem to many people, as though they are surprised to get to know that majority of other people before them lived and are living on earth suffered and in suffers, if their mind interprets the perceived world doubly on a basis of such interpretation, fear causes true reason as a radical emotion of suffering.
And if a modern person is financially secure as he or she thinks, and the more they have, the more they are afraid to lose what they have. The more they struggle for conservation of the standard of living, material possibilities, the control and maintenance by way of everything what is possible. All these actions and visible external prosperity lead fear and suffering lay still within.
In most cases people aspire to the increase in accumulation of material benefits and authority. And spiritual weakness, uncertainty, intellectual or sensual attachment moves these tendencies having an ill path. Since ancient times this fear pushed people to murder, a deceit, larceny, predilection and greed; sustaining wars and social problems which were internal suffering reaction of one person in external forms of suffering to others. Antagonism and emotions amplified and grew, and people subconsciously aspired to get rid and find them the "true" reason for an event and to return to harmony and balance without those sufferings. Searching of reasons for social problems and individual illnesses during ancient times has generated a set of shaman and pagan doctrines. And during recent times they have regenerated in the world religions applying for knowledge of an essence Unity, but conflicting among themselves, that in the recent past all has led to full denying of these doctrines and religions under the flag of criticizing atheism and all forms of integrating materialism. At the heart of these tendencies from ancient times till today lies the searching of the uniting and not dual beginning (Adwaita) that, as a matter of fact, constitutes the path to the Unity, i.e. yoga.
